In the morning about 13 kids including me got up at about 3:45 to watch the sunrise and see the summer solstice, which I had a lot of fun doing. Later that day we had a class about the the shelters and tools that the Pueblos used. We sat in a pithouse for about an hour (a pit house is a partially underground ground house that the Pueblos used to live in and usefor rituals) and tried to make fire with Hearth stones and spindle sticks, which are both made out of wood and you rib them together to make ashes/charcoal that is then spilled onto a piece of leather and put it into cat tail cotton which is highly flammable. We then walked up to the block house which is just a brick house and it had a tower which we all took turns and went up, the view was upon the crow canyon and it was amazing. I wasted then super tired because I was up for 18 hours, so I went to bed when almost everyone else went star gazing.
